Elder law, trust and estate planning with an expertise in special needs planning and special needs trust administration.
Martha joined Midwest Trust in 2022 with over 40 years of experience in the private practice of law and was the principal of her own law firm for over 25 years.
Much of her law practice was focused on elder law and special needs planning. Martha has received several awards for her work with the elderly and people with disabilities including the 2008 Powley Award. The Powley Award is presented to the National Academy of Elder Law Attorney member who is recognized in their community as a leader in promoting a greater understanding of the rights and needs of elders and people with special needs and advocating for those rights.
