Carl has over 40 years’ experience with emphasis on a broad range of estate planning matters, such as lifetime planning; taxation; estate and trust administration; charitable giving; business entity choice, formation, governance, management, transactions, and succession; and asset protection.
He previously served as the Director of Education for the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys. Carl holds the advanced law degree of Master of Laws in Estate Planning (LLM) and is published extensively in various law journals such as Taxation for Lawyers, The Journal of Taxation and Estate Planning. He has been recognized in the Kansas and Missouri Super Lawyers listings and in Kansas City Business Magazine’s “Best Personal Wealth Managers.”
